Arbeiter Samariter Bund becomes ASBarriere-free
The Arbeiter Samariter Bund in Schleswig Holstein is taking a step towards digital accessibility, as the Eye-Able icon now adorns the aid organization's website. The classic, white Eye-Able figure can be seen on the right-hand side. And that too in the style of the ASB, on a red background.
Aid organizations in particular should be accessible to all people as far as possible. Of course, this also includes the areas that take place in the digital space. With our assistance tool, the ASB SH will in future also enable people with age-related visual impairment, visual impairments and also cognitive impairments, to participate digitally in the daily happenings of the organization. This makes the homepage accessible not only to some people, but to everyone.
The Schleswig Holstein Workers' Samaritan Federation now has the full range of Eye-Able services at its disposal. As always, the integration of our assistance software was quick and easy. Over 25 accessibility features are now provided. These support of course all those who need help in using online content, but also those who simply want to customize a web interface according to their individual needs .
This is not the first time that ASB SH has been committed to inclusion. For example, 59 barrier-free apartments are provided at Stakendorfer Tor in Schƶnberg and have been since 1995. These are all equipped with balconies and are also accessible via an elevator.
We are very pleased to be able to work with an institution like ASB. Together, we pursue the same goal: helping people and making the world more inclusive. Only by working together can we bring digital accessibility to the far corners of the world. Together, for more digital inclusion!
