Welcoming Oliver Berchtold: A New Chapter for Eye-Able 

Eye-Able enters a new phase of growth 

Today marks an important milestone in the history of Eye-Able. We are proud to announce that Oliver Berchtold has joined Eye-Able as Chief Executive Officer, taking over the operational leadership of the company with the full support of our founders, board, and leadership team. 

Over the past six years, Eye-Able has grown from a university project in Würzburg into one of Europe's leading digital accessibility providers. What started with four people and a shared vision has become an international company with more than 150 employees, over 5,000 customers, and operations across more than ten countries. 

As the company continues to expand, we believe this is the right moment to strengthen our leadership with proven international experience that can help scale our impact even further. 

Why Oliver? 

Oliver brings more than two decades of executive leadership experience in international technology businesses. 

He brings more than 22 years of leadership experience from SoftwareOne, where he progressed through a range of senior leadership roles before being appointed Chief Operating Officer. As COO, he was responsible for the company's global services and software & cloud delivery organization, leading more than 6,000 employees across 70+ countries while helping scale the business into one of the world's leading software and cloud solutions providers. 

His experience spans operating model design, service delivery, business transformation, and strategic growth across private, publicly listed, and global organizations. For Eye-Able, however, this decision goes beyond experience and credentials. 

We have worked closely with Oliver for years. He understands our business, shares our vision, and believes deeply in the potential of accessibility as a driver of innovation, inclusion, and sustainable growth. 

A leadership team built for the future 

Oliver's appointment comes shortly after the arrival of Harald Holberg as CFO, further strengthening Eye-Able's executive team. Together, they bring additional expertise that will support the company's next stage of development. 

This is not a change in mission. It is an investment in execution. 

As Eye-Able continues to grow internationally, our focus remains clear: helping organizations make accessibility an integral part of their digital strategy and customer experience. 

Oliver's vision 

During his first weeks, Oliver's focus will be on listening, learning, and building relationships across the organization. 

His leadership philosophy combines ambition with operational excellence: creating a clear North Star that teams can rally around while ensuring consistent execution every step of the way.
