Teaching general principles of digital accessibility. The theory is deepened by practical exercises. The Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) are used to show how accessible documents can be created:

Participants will learn to identify and address barriers in documents and create accessible MS Office documents.

Tag 1:

Experts test your provided digital documents for WCAG compliance. A blind tester additionally checks accessibility and the use of assistive technologies. Participants do not need to be present.

Tag 2:

The results of Tag 1 are presented. Action plans and recommendations for action are developed. Practical examples deepen the understanding.

Goal: Participants are given the decision-making and ability to act in order to implement accessible documents.

A two-day workshop is divided into a preparation day (without working group) and a Tag for the presentation of results and know-how transfer (with working group). On the preparation day, the web content is examined in detail and an individual accessibility strategy is developed.
