Unclear product options for screen readers

Product variants are announced by screen readers as radio buttons without any explanation. As a result, it’s unclear whether you’re selecting a different variant or just navigating through images.

Button says “Add to my cart,” but that’s misleading

The button is read by screen readers as “In my cart,” even though the product hasn’t been added yet. This can be confusing and may disrupt the purchase flow.

Checkout without an account is not possible

During checkout, there was no accessible option to register or continue as a guest. The result: the purchase process stops, even though the user simply wants to pay.

All of this ultimately means one thing: someone who wanted to place an order couldn’t.
